Infrastructure Readiness

Why a DB Assessment is Mandatory

Whether you are installing the entry-level 5.5kW series or our flagship 13kW NX13, Anlabeier instant heaters require an electrical backbone that exceeds standard geyser specifications. We assess your board to ensure your home can support the instant thermal concurrency of your chosen model.

Instant Heating vs. Storage Tanks

Standard geysers heat slowly over hours using 3kW. Anlabeier units heat instantly, pulling between 5.5kW and 13.0kW. This requires dedicated breakers and specific copper cable thicknesses to prevent fire risks.

Typical DB Board Assessment

The Amperage Matrix

An assessment ensures your main supply can handle the specific draw of your unit compared to standard appliances:

Unit Type Peak Load Amp Draw Infrastructure
Standard Geyser 3.0 kW ±13.6A 2.5mm² / 20A
5.5kW Series 5.5 kW ±23.9A 4.0mm² / 32A
8.0kW Series 8.0 kW ±34.8A 6.0mm² / 40A
NX13 Series 13.0 kW ±56.5A 10mm² / 63A
Why distance matters

If your unit is more than 10m from the DB board, voltage drop occurs. Our assessment calculates if you need to jump from 6mm² to 10mm² cabling for the NX13.
